Assistant Director Stuart M. Allison,

Stuart M. Allison, originally from Auburn, Indiana, was selected as the Assistant Director of Protective Operations on January 27, 2025.  As the Assistant Director of Protective Operations, Mr. Allison is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and implementing the protective policies, programs, and operations of the Secret Service.

During his career, Mr. Allison has served in numerous leadership assignments including: Deputy Assistant Director within the Office of Protective Operations, Special Agent in Charge of the Presidential Protective Division, Deputy Special Agent in Charge for the Presidential Protective Division, Deputy Special Agent in Charge for the Special Operations Division, Assistant Special Agent in Charge for the Presidential Protective Division, Assistant to the Special Agent in Charge of the Presidential Protective Division (Operations Supervisor, Shift Leader, Detail Leader for Chief of Staff, and Joint Operations Center Supervisor) and Assistant to the Special Agent in Charge of the James J. Rowley Training Center – Special Operations Training Section.

Mr. Allison’s law enforcement career began in 1998 with the United States Secret Service in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Prior to joining the United States Secret Service, Mr. Allison served five years as a high school Social Studies teacher and coach in Northeast Indiana.

Mr. Allison holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education from Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana (1993).
