Additional Security Information for the Pittsburgh Summit Announced

(Washington, D.C.) – The United States Secret Service in cooperation with its local, state
and federal security, public safety and military partners, is developing the overall security
plan for the Pittsburgh Summit. The summit will take place Thursday and Friday,
September 24 and 25, 2009.

The following security measures will be in place for the Pittsburgh Summit in and around
the Phipps Conservatory:

• Street Closures: Beginning at 9 a.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2009, through
midnight that night, the following streets will be closed to vehicle and pedestrian
traffic.
o Boulevard of the Allies/Panther Hollow Road from Parkview Avenue to
Greenfield Road
o West Circuit Road from East Circuit Road and Serpentine Drive to
Schenley Drive
o Schenley Drive from Darlington Road to Frank Curto Drive
o Frank Curto Drive from Schenley Drive to Schenley Drive Extension
o Frew Street from Schenley Drive to Tech Street
o Tech Street from Frew Street to Margaret Morrison Street
o Overlook Drive from the Boulevard of the Allies to Greenfield Road
o Panther Hollow Road from Schenley Drive to Boulevard of the Allies
