The U.S. Secret Service (USSS) is an elite federal law enforcement agency that has an integrated mission to protect our nation’s leaders and financial infrastructure. The Citizens Academy in the USSS Dallas Field Office District is an opportunity to strengthen partnerships with local community leaders by providing an interactive way to learn why our agency is so unique.
The academy will last for six weeks and cover the following topics:

• The USSS Protective Mission
- Protection based scenarios
- National Special Security Events
- Protective Intelligence
- Specialized teams
- Emergency medicine
- Armored Vehicles
• The USSS Investigative Mission
- Counterfeit currency
- Cyber Fraud Task Forces
- Digital Evidence Forensic Lab
• Outreach programs
• Community Partnerships

Your email should include a paragraph with your community leadership role and why you are interested in attending. Someone from the local USSS Dallas Field Office will reach out to you with further information.
Prerequisites:
• Local community leader (civic, religious, business, organization)
• At least 18 years old
• Must submit to a background investigation
