The United States Secret Service is proud to pilot a Citizens Academy through our Dallas Field Office. This academy is an opportunity to strengthen partnerships with local community leaders by providing an interactive way to learn about our agency’s unique integrated missions of protecting the nation’s leaders and financial infrastructure.
The academy will last for six weeks and cover the following topics:
• The History of the USSS
• The USSS protective mission
- Protection based scenarios
- National Special Security Events
- Protective Intelligence
- Specialized teams
- Emergency medicine
- Armored Vehicles
• The USSS investigative mission
- Counterfeit currency
- Cyber Fraud Task Forces
- Digital Evidence Forensic Lab
• Outreach programs
• Community Partnerships

October 3, 2023 – November 7, 2023
Tuesday evenings 6:00pm – 9:00pm

Prerequisites:
• Local community leader (civic, religious, business, organization)
• At least 18 years old
• Must submit to a background investigation
