The Chaplain Program
The purpose of the United States Secret Service ( Secret Service) Chaplain Program is to offer resources, assistance, and support, while providing a more sensitive response to Secret Service employees and their immediate family members in times of personal and professional need and in crisis situations. This directive establishes policy, procedures, and responsibilities for the implementation of the Secret Service Chaplain Program and defines the responsibilities of the Office of Equity and Employee Support Services ( EES) Executive, the Chaplain Program Manager (CPM), collateral -duty Regional Chaplain Coordinators ( RCC), and the supporting Volunteer Chaplains. This directive further serves as the management tool to outline and define specific organizational tasks and priorities, assign responsibilities, and allocate resources necessary for implementation and compliance with Chaplain Program requirements.
